Cost and Financial Aid 2025
______________________
The programme adheres to the principle that no one should be unable to attend because of financial need.
PROMYS Europe would like every accepted student to attend and will assess financial need accordingly.
Fees
Normally, participants are expected to contribute to the costs by paying a fee. This covers tuition, accommodation and all meals. The standard fee represents less than half of the actual cost of the programme per participant. The balance is met by the partner organisations and by donations from supporters.
The standard fee for students for PROMYS Europe 2025 is £4000.
Financial Aid
Full or partial financial aid is available for those who would otherwise be unable to attend and is awarded based on demonstrated need. Financial aid will take into consideration the cost of fees, visa and travel.
Eligibility: Students may apply for financial aid if their families are tax residents in Europe (including the UK and all countries adjacent to the Mediterranean).
Applications for financial aid are considered independently of admission decisions and only after the admissions decisions have been taken. Because admissions decisions are needs blind, only candidates who have been offered a place may apply for financial aid. You may not apply for financial aid before you have been notified of the outcome of your application for a place.
Successful applicants will need to ask a parent, or another adult who is in a position to make a declaration about family income, to complete the financial aid form that will be sent with the offer of a place. An example of the form can be viewed here. Financial Aid Application - Sample Form
